We are looking forward to welcoming back our students to Cornwall Central High School on Wednesday, September 2nd!

  • Student schedules will be available for view in the Parent Portal on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026. The Parent Portal can be accessed under the “Parents” tab on the Cornwall Central High School website. If you have any issues logging in to the parent portal, please contact Ms. Nora Cascino in the CCHS Main Office at (845) 534-8009 ext. 5000.

  • General lists can be accessed by clicking on the “Parent” tab on the Cornwall Central High School website, and then clicking on “Supply Lists”. The Supply List for academic departments will be listed and can be found by selecting the tab for that department. Detailed information about what supplies will be necessary for each class will also be shared with students by their teacher on the first day of school.

    Below is a list of important dates for the month of September/October. We will be running several safety drills throughout the school year. These drills include 8 evacuation drills, 2 lockouts and 4 lockdown drills. In addition to these, we also run high winds, shelter-in-place, go home early and bus drills. Safety information will be covered with your students in classrooms the first day of school and at class meetings.

    • August 25th: Freshmen/New Student Orientation-This is a drop off event and communication was sent via Parent Square in July.
    • September 2nd: First Day of School
    • September 7th: No School, Labor Day September 9th: Back to School Night, 5:30 PM: ENL and Title I Meeting CCHS Auditorium, Teachers Classrooms 6:00-8:00 P.M. (Separate Letter to Follow)
    • September 15th and 16th: Class Meetings During the School Day
    • September 21st: No School, Observance of Yom Kippur
    • September 24th (rain date 25th): Senior Class “27” Picture last block, any senior with early release will need to stay on campus to be in the picture. Senior Informals will take place during community lunch and after school.
    • September 24th: Senior Parent Night, 7:00 P.M. @ CCHS Auditorium
    • October 2nd: Quarter 1 Midpoint
    • October 3rd: SAT’s
    • October 6th-5:30 P.M. Financial Aid Night @ CCHS Auditorium, 6:30 College Fair @ CCHS Gymnasium
    • October 9th-Districtwide Early Dismissal Drill
    • October 12th-No School, Observance of Columbus/Indigenous People’s Day
    • October 13th-16th: Spirit Week
    • October 16th- Pep Rally during the day, Homecoming Football Game @ CCHS 7 P.M.
    • October 17th-PSAT’s AM, Homecoming Dance @ CCHS 7 P.M., CCHS students ONLY *NO GUESTS*
    • October 20th-23rd-Underclassmen Picture Day During Assigned P.E. Classes
    • October 28th: NHS Bloodrive During the School Day
  • We have designed the school’s website with the intention of being a helpful and informative resource for CCHS families. There, parents, guardians and students will be able to access timely and important information throughout the school year. In addition, daily announcements will be emailed to students and parents/guardians to keep them current with school happenings. I encourage you to make sure that your student’s emergency contact information is updated in School-Tool, and that you are receiving all correspondence accurately.
